Symposium on Geography, Environment and Spatial Planning

May 30th to June 1st,  

Objectives

To contribute to the analysis and dissemination of research conducted in our country and other regions of the world, mainly in Latin America and the Caribbean, on the topics covered in this symposium, as well as to encourage scientific debate on current critical issues in geographic spaces and their transformation in face of the advancement of globalization and the prevailing neoliberal approach, which require geographic education in order to contribute to the construction of a new planning culture, governance, and inclusive and participative territorial management and the evaluation of the experiences gained with respect to overcoming the pressing problems derived from climate change
