Objectives

Havana will host in its Convention Center, from May 30 to June 2, 2023, the XI International Congress of Design of Havana, FORMA 2023. Under the motto, "In any case, Design", invites the community Design professional to reflect on the need to think about the role and place of design in social development and new social dynamics, in the development and promotion of public policies, in the preservation and sustainability of the natural environment of the human being and in the new relationships with production processes.

The recent global emergencies experienced have led us to rethink the very essence of human life. What, why, for what, by whom and in what way is it designed, are questions that, beyond an ontological investigation of the profession, seek to generate the collective redefinition of Design in the face of new technological, productive and consumer paradigms that are developed in The world in which we live.

The Congress will be, as in previous editions, organized by events. Offering designers, creative academics, researchers and entrepreneurs from all over the world, a favorable setting for debate and exchange. FORMA 2023 is also an ideal space to learn about the theoretical and practical work of the Cuban Design community. It is a space to rediscover the links that unite us and consolidate the certainty that all future development, regardless of differences and new realities, In any case, Design.
