Objectives

To contribute to the dissemination, management, and conservation of the diversity and functional capacity of ecosystems, fostering the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and the establishment of inter-institutional partnerships; and, additionally, to promote strategies both at a national level and at a regional level in order to mitigate the underlying causes of the loss of biological diversity, actively including government and society in this effort, and to promote as well its sustainable use, ensuring a fair and equal access to the goods and services derived from its use.
